Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting for a reliable 7.5T Delivery Driver to join one of our prestigious clients based in Crawley. It is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. You will be delivering a variety products to different locations, including occasional long-distance deliveries (Wales). You must hold a valid driving license, CPC card and Tacho card. Training will be provided
Responsibilities
- Up to 5-10 deliveries on a 7.5T vehicle depending on distance.
- Monday to Friday starting between 05:00 am to 06:00 am
- Ensure compliance with driving regulations.
- Make sure all paperwork is signed, accurate and distributed.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks which fulfil health and safety criteria on the 7.5T vehicle.
- Oversee safe loading and unloading of goods.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must hold a valid driving license, CPC card and tach card with the relevant qualifications for a 7.5T vehicle.
- Be able to operate the vehicle responsibly and safely, ensuring loads are safe and secure.
- No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements/convictions. No (CD/IN/DR/TT)
- Would need to live within 15 miles of the workplace in Crawley
- Minimum one year relevant commercial driving experience
- Good navigational skills
- Right to work in the UK
