Warehouse Operative with FLT

Warehouse Operative (70% Warehouse / 30% FLT Counterbalance)

Location: Northfleet, Kent
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence to join a busy manufacturing and distribution operation based in Northfleet.

This role is predominantly hands-on warehouse work, with approximately 70% of your time spent carrying out general warehouse duties and 30% operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who is comfortable with physical work and enjoys being part of a busy warehouse team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 – 16:00

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading containers, deliveries, and vehicles
• Manual handling of stock and materials
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Palletising and wrapping products
• Organising and maintaining warehouse stock locations
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well organised
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck when required
• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse and yard
• Following all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
