Driver Hire Darlington is currently seeking a reliable Van Driver for ongoing supply work with a range of well-established clients across the Darlington area.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible, varied work, with regular shifts available and the potential to secure long-term assignments.
The Role for a Van Driver:
- Multi-drop deliveries to residential and/or commercial customers
- Loading and unloading goods (manual handling required)
- Planning delivery routes and completing drops within set timeframes
- Providing a high level of customer service at each delivery point
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring safe, legal operation
Shifts & Availability for a Van Driver:
- Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work available)
- Flexible supply shifts – part-time or full-time hours
- Typical start times between 06:00am – 08:00am
Requirements for an Van Driver:
- Full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Previous multi-drop or delivery experience preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Customer-focused with a professional attitude
