Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Driver to support a range of clients across the Darlington area on a supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for flexible work, whether you’re seeking full-time hours or occasional shifts to suit your availability.
The Role for a Class 1 Driver:
- General haulage, trunking, and delivery work
- Day shifts, night shifts, and occasional weekend work available
- Minimal handball for most assignments, though some roles may involve light manual handling
- Working with a variety of reputable local and national clients
- Ensuring timely and professional deliveries while representing both Driver Hire and our customers
Requirements for a Class 1 Driver:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
- Strong customer service skills
