Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Drivers for a full-time position with a well-established client operating across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, full-time hours with the potential for long-term or permanent employment.
🕒 Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am start times
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Overtime available depending on workload
🔧 The Role
- Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle with remote grab
- Completing multi-drop deliveries efficiently and safely
- Delivering materials to commercial and residential sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE:
- £16.20 per hour
- £21.50 per hour (after 8 hours)
PAYE Advanced:
- £18.16 per hour
- £24.20 per hour (after 8 hours)
✅ Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Overtime opportunities available
✅ Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid HIAB certification – ALLMI C5+E (essential)
(AITT or RTITB certification also accepted) - Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous HIAB experience preferred
- Reliable, safety-focused, and professional attitude
