Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join our client in Poole on a temp-to-perm basis.

💷 £100 Bonus – Receive a £100 bonus for each of your first 20 shifts completed through Driver Hire.

Pay Rates (PAYE – Holiday Pay Advanced)

• £17.00 per hour – Days
• £18.21 per hour – Nights
• £20.17 per hour – Weekends

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 0600-1800

The Role

As a Class 2 Tanker Driver, you’ll be responsible for collecting and transporting sewage and wastewater from large storage tanks to authorised processing facilities.

Previous tanker driving experience is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a Class 2 tanker vehicle
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Transporting waste loads to designated treatment sites
• Completing delivery and vehicle records accurately
• Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers and colleagues
• Following all road transport, health & safety and company procedures

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

✅ Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
✅ Valid Driver CPC qualification
✅ Digital Tachograph Card
✅ Previous tanker driving experience
✅ Own transport to travel to and from work
✅ No more than 6 penalty points

Based in Poole, this role is easily commutable from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Salisbury, Wimborne, Ferndown, Ringwood and Surrounding areas.
