We are currently recruiting Drivers Mates for an ongoing position with a leading logistics and home delivery operation based in Loanhead. This role offers consistent work with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

Working as part of a two-person delivery team, you will assist with the delivery of household furniture and large items to customers’ homes throughout the region.

Duties include:

• Assisting the driver with multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Delivering large furniture and household goods into customers’ homes
• Providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and punctual individuals
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts
• Must be able to get to Loanhead for a 07:00 start
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential

Hours & Pay

• Sunday to Wednesday
• 07:00 start
• Approx. 10-hour shifts
• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime rate applies after 10.5 hours worked per shift
• Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent
