Immediate Starts Available
We are currently recruiting reliable and customer-focused Van Drivers to join a busy home delivery operation delivering home improvement products to customers throughout the region.
This is a varied role where successful candidates will spend 3 days per week driving and 2 days per week working as a Driver’s Mate, assisting with deliveries and providing excellent customer service.
Pay Rates
PAYE
- £13.50 per hour – Monday to Friday
- £20.25 per hour – Saturday
- £27.00 per hour – Sunday
PAYE Advance
- £15.12 per hour – Monday to Friday
- £22.69 per hour – Saturday
- £30.25 per hour – Sunday
The Role
- Deliver home improvement and household products to residential customers.
- Work as a Van Driver for 3 days per week.
- Work as a Driver’s Mate for 2 days per week, assisting with loading, unloading, and carrying goods into customers’ homes.
- Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Provide exceptional customer service on every delivery.
- Heavy lifting is required, so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Shift Patterns Available
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Sunday to Thursday
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ continuous van driving experience.
- No gaps in employment exceeding 3 months within the last 6 months.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements).
- Willingness to work as both a Van Driver and Driver’s Mate.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
