HGV Vehicle Transport / Recovery Driver –

 £19.00 per hour
 6-month contract with a view to permanent employment
 HGV licence required
 No CPC/Tacho required for this role – police operations are exempt where applicable

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Transport / Recovery Driver to work on behalf of a well established company

This is a varied role involving the movement of police vehicles between dealerships, bodyshops, police depots and other locations.

 Vehicles You’ll Drive

You will be required to switch between:

• 18T beavertail
• 26T beavertail
• 7.5T beavertail

 Where Will You Be Driving?

The work covers a large geographical area, so flexibility is essential.

You could be travelling along the south coast to locations such as Hastings and Chichester, or heading further afield towards Hampshire, Bedfordshire, Birmingham and potentially Scotland.

 Requirements

• HGV licence required
• Previous vehicle recovery/transport experience preferred but not essential
• Good driving record
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach
• Comfortable with long-distance driving
• No criminal record – essential due to the nature of the work
• Able to work professionally while representing a police contract
• Tachograph/CPC requirements are not required for the applicable police-exempt operations
