Driver Hire is recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV C+E Day Drivers in Bridgwater for a busy and varied role covering trunk runs, RDC deliveries and CDC deliveries. The Role
As a Class 1 Day Driver, your duties may include:
Carrying out trunk runs between depots and distribution centres
Delivering to RDC and CDC sites
Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork accurately
Ensuring loads are transported safely and professionally
Representing Driver Hire and our clients to a high standard
Working Monday to Friday, with weekend work available for extra shifts

Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
A valid Class 1 / HGV C+E licence
Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
To be over the age of 25
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
A professional, reliable and flexible approach
Previous trunking, RDC or CDC experience would be beneficial
