Driver Hire Taunton & Bridgwater are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV C+E Drivers to work with a number of fantastic local clients in and around the Bridgwater area.
We have a range of opportunities available, including ongoing work and temp-to-perm roles for successful candidates.
The Role
As a Class 1 HGV C+E Driver, your duties may include:
Driving Class 1 articulated vehicles safely and professionally
Completing deliveries and collections for a variety of local clients
Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately
Providing a reliable and professional service to customers and clients
Following all road transport and health & safety regulations

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
A professional and reliable approach
Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence, with no DD, DR or IN endorsements
