Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and dependable Class 2 Driver to join our team on day shifts. This role offers consistent work, early starts, and no nights out.

Job Description

We are seeking a professional Class 2 Driver to carry out general haulage deliveries and collections using curtain-sided HGV Class 2 vehicles. The role typically involves 2–3 drops or collections per day, delivering a variety of goods to commercial customers.

This is a day shift position with regular 7:00am starts and drivers are usually back the same day with no overnight stays required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle for deliveries and collections.
• Complete 2–3 drops/collections per shift efficiently and on time.
• Secure and check loads correctly before departure.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately.
• Follow all road transport regulations and company procedures.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
• Good communication skills and customer service approach.
