Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced van drivers to support a range of clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This role is perfect for drivers seeking flexible, ad hoc work that can fit around other commitments, while offering a hands-on, active working environment.
🕒 The Role
- Completing multi-drop furniture deliveries across local routes
- Working as part of a team to load, handle, and deliver heavy items
- Ensuring all goods are delivered safely and in excellent condition
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Flexible shifts, mainly Monday to Friday
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE:
- £13.00 per hour
- £17.32 per hour (after 8 hours)
PAYE Advanced:
- £14.57 per hour
- £19.42 per hour (after 8 hours)
✅ Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Flexible work to suit your availability
✅ Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- No major endorsements (DD, IN, CD, DG, DR)
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Previous van driving experience essential
