Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver
Job Summary
HGV Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver required for busy Oxfordshire business previous experience a benefit. Working week will comprise of Monday to Friday. Drivers must be reliable, professional and hardworking & have relevant HGV driving experience, the role will consist of delivering ready mixed concrete in the local areas, no overnight working required. Having RMC (ready mix concrete) experience would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given. Competitive pay and bonus available.

- Title: HGV Class 2 RMC Driver – Immediate Start
- Hours: Monday to Friday- 0600 –1500/1600 hours, great work life balance, with sociable driving hours
- Pay Rate: £16.00 PAYE Adv
- Full time Salary: £33k per year + bonus

Duties
Perform daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
Load and unload goods using appropriate manual handling techniques or equipment
Deliver concrete, coated asphalt, and aggregates to customers or depots on time, ensuring accurate paperwork and documentation
Maintain communication with the Distribution Department regarding delays, issues, or route changes
Ensure security of the load during transit
Complete delivery logs, timesheets, and any required digital entries accurately
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritising the health, safety, and environmental standards of our client
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A valid HGV Category C licence, a Digi Card and a current Driver CPC qualification
Proven experience as an HGV driver preferred, training can be offered
Good knowledge of local road networks and route planning
Excellent time management and communication skills
A hard-working and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn
This position is commutable from: Newbury, Wallingford, Thame, Witney, Didcot, and other areas nearby to Abingdon
