Our Solution and Outcome
William Wilson has been using Driver hire Aberdeen over ten years. The relationship between us is of understanding and knowledge in what they do. We understand the speed of delivery required by this busy company and their customers. William Wilson delivers across the North East so drivers must have a good local knowledge of the area they are delivering in.
William Wilson uses Driver Hire mainly for transit drivers and LGV 2 Drivers on a temporary basis to cover sickness and holidays. We have also done temp to perm drivers and permanent placements. All methods require different methods to recruit the right candidates. Notice for temporary drivers can be short and William Wilson has taken advantage of our 24 hour service to order drivers in the morning. Permanent drivers are advertised for, selected and then interviews carried out to decide on suitability. We leave the decision of recruitment with the Transport Manager. The Transport Manager at William Wilson Aberdeen was also recruited through Driver Hire Aberdeen and is now our client!
We maintain our relationship with William Wilson with regular conversations on quality of our workers and also through courtesy visits every four to six weeks. We keep up to date with changes within the company, in the driving division and also as a whole. We also supply to William Wilson Inverurie through having a good relationship with the Transport Manager there.
What they said
I have worked with many driving agencies throughout my time as both class 1 driver and now a Group Transport Manager and have always been very happy with the standard of the staff that Driver Hire provide, the level of commitment and knowledge there drivers bring to a job is always of a high degree, and is a good indication of the commitment the recruitment staff place on finding and providing good quality staff to their customers.
I am pleased to be associated with Driver Hire and look forward to working with them in the future.
