Driver Hire Sudbury is currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Sudbury.
This is a physically demanding role involving manual labour and assisting with the movement and assembly of timber roof trusses inside the warehouse.
Role is full time (Monday to Friday), ongoing and available asap
Duties will include:
- Working in a productive operative environment
- Assisting with building and assembling trusses
- Moving timber roof trusses around the warehouse
- Regularly lifting materials weighing up to 30kg
- Using basic hand tools (training provided)
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Keeping the working area clean and organised
The successful candidate must:
- Be physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 30kg
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Be comfortable completing manual work throughout the shift
- Be able to drive or have reliable transport to Sudbury
Previous warehouse, construction, production, carpentry or manual labour experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
Please be advised pay includes holiday pay at 12.07%
