🚗 Category B Driver – A-to-B Vehicle Movements
💷 £13.00 per hour | Ad Hoc / Part-Time
Looking for flexible driving work that can fit around your availability?
Driver Hire Edinburgh West are recruiting Category B Drivers to assist with a variety of A-to-B vehicle movements across different assignments.
This is an ad hoc, part-time opportunity, with shifts potentially available at different times of the day, including early mornings, mid-day and evenings. There are no guaranteed hours, but assignments may be available to suit your availability.
🚗 What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely driving vehicles from one location to another.
- Completing A-to-B vehicle movements as required.
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys.
- Reporting any vehicle issues or defects.
- Representing Driver Hire and our clients in a professional manner.
- Working across a variety of assignments and locations.
✅ What You Need
- Full UK Category B driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- At least 1 year’s commercial driving experience.
- Maximum 3 penalty points – minor offences only.
- No IN, DD, DR or CD convictions.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Flexible attitude and availability to work different shift times.
- A valid Disclosure Scotland certificate, or willingness to apply for one at your own expense.
💷 Pay & Availability
£13.00 per hour
Ad hoc / part-time assignments may include:
🌅 Early morning shifts
☀️ Mid-day shifts
🌙 Evening shifts
