Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting experienced Category B Van Drivers to support a variety of clients across West Edinburgh and West Lothian.
If you’re looking for occasional or part-time driving work that can fit around your other commitments, we have a range of assignments available depending on your availability.
🚚 What Kind of Work Is Available?
Driving assignments can vary and may include:
- Local and parcel deliveries
- Furniture deliveries
- Paint and flower deliveries
- Pharmacy deliveries
- Home-shopping deliveries
- General van driving duties
⚠️ Please be aware: The nature of the work will depend on the assignment. Some roles involve manual handling and heavy lifting, while others are less physically demanding.
💷 Pay Rates
£13.00 per hour – holiday pay accrued
£14.57 per hour – holiday pay included
📋 Driver Requirements
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Full UK Category B driving licence held for at least 2 years
- Minimum 1 year’s commercial driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points – minor offences only
- No IN, DD, DR or CD convictions
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Flexibility to work across a range of assignments
