dhBorders Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrician on behalf of our client based in the Selkirk area.
You will be carrying out a range of electrical work across occupied and void properties, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Responsibilities
- General electrical maintenance and repairs
- Inspection, testing, and fault finding
- Installation of electrical systems, fixtures, and fittings
- Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations (18th Edition)
- Working in domestic and communal environments
- Providing a professional service when interacting with residents and site contacts
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification essential
- Experience in inspection and testing (2391 or equivalent preferred)
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic Disclosure Level 1
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Pay: £18.90 per hour on PAYE / £21.18 per hour on advanced holiday pay.
