DriverHire Bridgwater & Taunton are looking for experienced Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers to support a range of clients across the local area.

This is a varied driving role covering a wide range of consignments, customers and delivery requirements, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy variety and are comfortable working across different types of Class 2 assignments.
The Role
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
Class 2 / Category C driving across a variety of local clients
Delivering and collecting a wide range of consignments
Completing multi-drop or single-drop work depending on the client
Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
Working safely and in accordance with all relevant driving regulations
Covering early starts from 05:30 when required
Adapting to different vehicles, routes and customer requirements
The work can vary from assignment to assignment, so flexibility and a professional approach are important.

Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
A valid Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
Valid Driver CPC
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
Must be aged 25 or over due to insurance requirements
Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations
A reliable and flexible approach to work
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to accommodate 05:30 starts when required
