We are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to support our client to deliver steel across the UK. This is Class 1 flat bed work, where strapping and chaining is involved.
The role offers regular work, Monday to Friday. Depending on your availability however, we can provide full time or part time hours to suit you – please call us for more information.
Hours and pay:
- 6.00 am start time, average shift 12 hours
- £12.72 per hour (pay rate on PAYE), paid weekly on a Friday.
- Assisting with additional duties
As a qualified and professional HGV Class 1 Driver, you will have your Cat C+E licence, digital tacho and CPC card, along with some commercial driving experience.
You may be required to assist with additional duties outside the typical driving role, on or off the customers site, and you will be responsible for keeping your vehicle clean at all times and carrying out daily checks.
