HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Ongoing Work
Location: Lincoln
Pay: Up to £18.50 per hour weekdays, with higher weekend rates
Shifts: Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Driver Hire Lincoln is currently recruiting dependable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a well-established client based in Lincoln.
This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity with immediate starts available, offering straightforward Class 1 work across a mixture of local and nationwide routes.
No handball is required, and the work includes a variety of general haulage and refrigerated runs.
Whether you’re looking for regular full-time shifts or additional work to fit around your availability, we’d like to hear from you.
THE ROLE
As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
- Completing between 1 and 5 deliveries per day
- A mixture of general haulage and refrigerated runs
- Driving across local and nationwide routes
- No handball
- Transporting goods safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Completing all required paperwork accurately
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and relevant parties
- Following all road safety, legal and operational requirements
PAY
- Weekdays – up to £18.50 per hour
- Higher rates available at weekends
- PAYE engagement
- Weekly pay
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To be considered, you will need:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No major endorsements and a maximum of 6 penalty points
- Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
- A reliable and positive attitude
- A flexible and professional approach to work
