HGV 2 HIAB Driver

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 (Cat C) Remote HIAB driver for work with a busy timbers merchant within Hamilton

Duties will include;
– 0700 to 0800 start
– Carrying out daily routine vehicle checks
– Delivering building materials to smaller and larger sites
– Deliveries can be local and surrounding areas
– There will be some deliveries to residential areas
– Some drops with smaller items may include handball
– Use of HIAB ticket with Grab

You must have;
– A valid Remote HIAB certificate
– A good local area knowledge
– Good customer service
– A valid CPC card
– Digital tachograph card
– No more than 6 points on your licence*

* No DD, DR or IN endorsements are accepted
for insurance stipulations

The right candidate will ideally have knowledge of the building industry and experience in operating a remote Hiab vehicle.

Rate of pay;
£16.50 p/h paid via PAYE with holiday accrual
We can also offer the option of an alternative PAYE model for an enhanced rate of pay with holiday accrual topped up
