Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a variety of well-established clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

🕒 Shift Patterns
- Flexible ad hoc work to suit client requirements
- Weekday and weekend shifts available
- Typical start times of 7:00am or 11:00am
- Extra shifts available during busy periods and holiday cover
- Opportunities with a range of clients across Edinburgh and surrounding areas
🚛 The Role
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle on multi-drop delivery routes
- Working alongside a driver’s mate to complete deliveries safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
💷 Pay Rates
Monday to Friday
PAYE
- £14.50 per hour
- £19.32 per hour after 8 hours
PAYE Advanced
- £16.25 per hour
- £21.66 per hour after 8 hours

✅ Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 9 penalty points
- No DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements
- Comfortable with manual handling duties
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
