Driver Hire Motherwell are currently looking for two HGV 1 drivers to work with our busy client based in Lanark on an ongoing basis with the view to lead to permanent for the ideal candidate.
Shifts and Hours
– Working Monday to Friday
– Occasional Saturday may be required
– 1500 to 1800 starts
– 48 hours a week
About This Role
– Carrying out daily vehicle checks
– Collections/Deliveries of kitchens to Manchester
– Dealing with paperwork
– Working on a 12-week probationary period
Applicants must have
– HGV 1 (CAT C+E) licence
– Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
– Excellent customer service skills
– No more than 6 points and clear from DD, DR & IN endorsements
Due to the nature of this role, previous experience within a similar field dealing with heavy manual handling would be advantageous. Some insurance restrictions may apply. Contact us for more information.
Pay and Benefits
– Monday to Friday: £17.75 p/h PAYE
– Saturday: £23.66 p/h PAYE
– 9.6hrs minimum guaranteed per day
– 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE
– Weekly pay while working through Driver Hire
– Pension contributions after qualifying period
