FLT Driver / Yard / Warehouse Operative (Builders Merchant Background)
Monday to Friday | No Weekends | £29K Opportunity

Driver Hire Dundee are recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client – ideal for someone with a background in a builders merchant, trade counter, or busy yard environment.
If you’re used to working with building materials, handling stock in a fast-paced yard, and getting involved in deliveries when needed — this will feel like a natural fit.

What you’ll be doing:
- Operating Counterbalance FLT in a busy yard/warehouse
- Loading and unloading building materials safely
- Picking and preparing orders for trade and commercial customers
- Booking in deliveries and managing stock
- Keeping the yard organised, safe, and running efficiently
- Supporting local deliveries (typically 1–2 days per week) using a company van
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience in a builders merchant, trade yard, or similar environment
- Confident handling heavy / bulk materials
- Strong awareness of health & safety in a yard setting
- Reliable, hands-on, and used to working at pace
