Drivers Mate – Darnley
We are currently recruiting Drivers Mates to join our team supporting a well-known DIY retailer based in Darnley.
This is a physically demanding role, ideal for reliable and hardworking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team.
The Role
- Assisting drivers with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Delivering goods to customers safely and efficiently.
- Heavy lifting is required, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling.
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Shifts
- Day shifts available throughout the week and weekends.
- Saturday and Sunday work is required.
- Start times vary between 7:00am and 9:00am.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday: £12.71 per hour
- Saturday: £19.07 per hour
- Sunday: £25.42 per hour
Contract
- Temporary position with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right candidates.
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
- Own transport is preferred due to the location, or applicants must live locally to the Darnley area.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
