• £12.71 per hour PAYE
• £14.24 per hour PAYE Advanced

Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting Driver’s Mates based in Edinburgh on an ad hoc basis. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for flexible work.
📦 The Role:
• Assisting the driver with deliveries and collections throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Assisting with route navigation when required
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Heavy lifting may be involved
🕒 Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday
• Early starts available
• Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift
• Flexible, ad hoc shifts available
✅ Requirements:
• Previous experience in a warehouse, removals, delivery or driver’s mate role is advantageous but not essential
• Good level of physical fitness as heavy lifting is involved
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Safety-conscious approach to work
