Depot Operations / Team Leader

We’re currently recruiting for an all-round Depot Operations leader for a busy site in Inverness. This is a mixed, hands-on role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone with well-rounded depot, logistics, or transport experience who’s happy to get involved across operations, admin, and coordination.

The focus of the role is supporting and running day-to-day depot operations, ensuring vehicles, workloads, and teams run efficiently and safely.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the depot
• Allocating workloads and ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly
• Monitoring vehicle movements and ensuring timely deliveries (Microlise system)
• General depot administration and coordination tasks
• Assisting with basic transport planning (training provided)
• Ensuring health & safety standards are followed on site
• Communicating with drivers and teams to keep operations running smoothly

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Previous depot, logistics, or transport experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A hands-on, flexible approach — willing to support across multiple areas
• Comfortable working independently, including periods of sole working within the depot
• Admin experience and confidence using systems
• Forklift experience is beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of transport systems (e.g. Microlise) is advantageous but full training will be given

• 4-day working week – Tuesday to Friday
• 07:30am – 5:30pm (40 hours per week)
• Overtime available when required
• Full training provided for the right candidate
