Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers for clients across Uxbridge, Harefield, Hayes, Northolt, Greenford and West Drayton.
£22.00–£24.00 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay)
PLEASE NOTE: All work is initially temporary and ad hoc. Shifts are not guaranteed.
The Role:
- Deliveries and collections to builders’ merchants, construction sites and hire companies
- Multi-drop deliveries (up to 10 drops) around the M25
- Safe operation of HIAB equipment and secure load handling
- Professional customer service and vehicle checks
Requirements:
- UK Class 2 (Category C) licence held for at least 2 years
- Valid HIAB certificate, CPC and digital tachograph card
- Minimum age 25 (insurance requirements)
- At least 1 year’s Class 2 HIAB experience (references required)
- Maximum 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, TT, IN or MS90 endorsements
- Good communication skills and a reliable, safety-conscious attitude
- Physically fit for manual handling duties
