Job Description
We are recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver for a permanent position based in Paignton. This role involves a four-day week with early starts, so it suits a driver who prefers to finish before the day gets going. You will cover trunk runs, with the occasional 2 or 3 drop run mixed in.
Location
Paignton, Devon. The role is based at a site in Paignton.
Salary
£17.09 per hour, paid through PAYE Advance (Other PAYE schemes are available)
Other PAYE models are available.
36 hours paid per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle on trunk runs
• Complete the occasional 2- or 3-drop run
• Start at 2am on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
• Work 9-hour shifts
• Complete tachograph records and walkaround checks
• Deliver loads safely and on time
Qualifications
• Full UK Category C licence (HGV Class 2)
• Driver CPC
• Digital tachograph card
• Happy to work from 2am, and on Saturdays
