Location: Bridgwater / Somerset
Hours: Monday to Friday, starting from approximately 7:00am
Overtime: Weekend overtime available
Contract: Ongoing work with a long-standing Driver Hire client
Driver Hire Bridgwater is recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers to work with one of our long-standing clients, delivering concrete to construction and commercial sites across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified Class 2 drivers, as full training can be provided on operating and driving Class 2 concrete mixer vehicles.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
Driving Class 2 concrete mixer vehicles
Delivering concrete to sites across the local and regional area
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Working safely around construction and customer sites
Providing a professional service when dealing with customers
Keeping the vehicle clean and reporting any defects
If you have not driven a concrete mixer before, training can be provided.

Start times from approximately 7:00am
Full-time ongoing work
Weekend overtime available
Additional hours may be available depending on workload
What We Are Looking For
You will need:
A valid Category C / Class 2 licence
Driver CPC
Digital tachograph card
A professional and reliable attitude
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn and complete mixer training
Newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply.
Previous concrete mixer experience is useful but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
