Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to support our busy client based in Lincoln. This is a long term on going position, providing consistent and ad hoc work, up to days per week.
Position: HGV Class 2 C Driver

Pay:
- Basic – £14.82 per hour (first 8 hours)
- Overtime – £22.23 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
- Saturdays £22.23 per hour
- Sundays and bank holidays £29.64
- Weekly PAYE pay every Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Shifts available = 07:00 starts and 11:00 starts
- Shifts available between Monday and Sunday
- 8 – 10 hour days
- Complete 10-15 deliveries per day locally
- Drivers mate with you at all times to assist with deliveries
- Transport goods safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain delivery records
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all safety and operational procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 2 C licence
- CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- No major endorsements (maximum 6 penalty points)
- Hi-vis clothing and safety boots
- Personal transport to get to and from work
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist
