Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on an ongoing supply basis for a range of well-established transport and logistics clients across the North East.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV drivers seeking regular night work, flexibility, and the chance to work with a variety of respected companies.
The Role of a Class 1 Driver
- Start time: 18:00
- Working 4 nights per week
- Ongoing supply work with regular shifts available
- Trunk runs and depot-to-depot deliveries
- Minimal handball involved on most assignments
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
Requirements to be a Class 1 Driver
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Strong commitment to road safety and customer service
