Admin Assistant / Credit Controller (Maternity Cover)
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Admin Assistant / Credit Controller to join our team in Beaumont Leys, Leicester on a maternity cover contract.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £14.12 per hour
The successful candidate will be computer literate, highly organised, and confident in managing credit control duties while providing excellent customer service. Previous credit control experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing customer accounts and credit control activities
- Chasing outstanding payments and resolving account queries
- Handling customer enquiries professionally and confidently via phone and email
- Processing payments, and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Providing general administrative support to the office team
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
Requirements:
- Previous credit control experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, confident, and customer-focused approach
