Driver Hire Bridgwater & Taunton are recruiting an experienced 7.5T Driver for an established client based near Highbridge.
This is an ongoing Monday-to-Friday position offering consistent work. This is not multi-drop work and there is no regular handballing involved.
The Role
You will typically complete 2–3 deliveries per day, covering mainly regional routes with some national deliveries when required.
Alongside your normal driving duties, you will need to be flexible and willing to support the wider team. This may include assisting with larger specialist deliveries or helping the warehouse team when required.
Typical duties include:
Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and professionally
Completing approximately 2–3 drops per day
Regional and occasional national deliveries
Supporting specialist or larger deliveries when required
Assisting the warehouse team during quieter periods
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Representing the client professionally when dealing with customers
Requirements
To be considered, you must:
Hold a valid Category C1 / 7.5T licence
Have a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Have a minimum of 1 year’s commercial 7.5T driving experience
Be reliable, professional and comfortable working as part of a team
Be willing to support with warehouse duties and specialist deliveries when required
