The Role
Driver Hire Bridgwater is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver to join one of our established local clients on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Duties will include:
Operating a Class 2 skip lorry
Delivering and collecting skips from customer sites
Completing daily vehicle checks
Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
Following all site and road safety procedures
Providing a reliable and professional service to customers
Requirements
Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
Minimum 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience – essential
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous skip lorry experience is advantageous
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
Please note: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience.
