HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB

Location: Livingston
Pay Rate: £16.80 per hour PAYE
Job Type: Full-Time / Temporary to Permanent (as applicable)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB to join a leading Utilities Management Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of utility products, equipment, and materials to customer and project sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Use HIAB equipment to load, unload, and position materials on site.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Adhere to all road transport legislation, working time regulations, and company policies.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic records.
• Maintain excellent customer service when dealing with site personnel and clients.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid HIAB Certificate (Grab or Hook attachment experience desirable).
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HIAB driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
