Salary Equivalent: £32,240 – £40,300 per year, depending on hours worked
Hours: 8–10 hour shifts
Start Time: Between 9:00am and 10:00am

Driver Hire is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver and yardsman for an ongoing role based in Langport. You will also be required to operate a forklift as part of the role.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the permanent position available once the required training has been successfully completed.
The Role
You will be carrying out Class 1 shunting duties on site, along with forklift duties, working approximately 8–10 hours per shift with start times between 9:00am and 10:00am.
40 hours per week – £620 gross / £32,240 per year
50 hours per week – £775 gross / £40,300 per year
Requirements
Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Forklift certificate
Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
Confident manoeuvring and shunting articulated vehicles
Reliable and professional approach
Good understanding of vehicle safety and site procedures
