We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join our team based in Blackpool.

The role involves delivering and collecting skips from residential, commercial and construction sites throughout Blackpool and the surrounding areas. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a professional attitude and can provide excellent service to our customers.

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Delivering and collecting skips safely and efficiently
• Operating skip loader vehicles and associated equipment
• Ensuring skips are positioned safely and correctly at customer locations
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring loads are safe and secure before travelling
• Completing relevant paperwork and job records accurately
• Communicating professionally with customers and the transport office
• Following company procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and in good working order

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A valid Category C / Class 2 HGV licence
• A valid Driver CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A good driving record
• Good knowledge of Blackpool and the surrounding areas would be beneficial
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• The ability to work independently and safely

Previous skip loader experience is essential
