Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Night Driver looking for a permanent position with a competitive salary and consistent Monday to Friday night work?

We’re recruiting an experienced and reliable Class 1 Night Driver for a customer based in Portsmouth. This is a permanent Monday to Friday night role, offering a salary of £43,000 per year.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with a clean driving record
• Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles at night is desirable
• Previous experience with general haulage, pallet deliveries or similar work is desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete Class 1 night-time deliveries safely and efficiently
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure full compliance with drivers’ hours and road transport regulations
• Deliver goods on time while maintaining excellent customer service
• Ensure loads are secure and handled safely
• Maintain a professional approach when representing the company and its customers
