Class 1 HGV Driver – Packaged Goods
North West | 4–5 Drops | 6:00am Starts | No Handball
We’re looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our customer on ongoing delivery work across the North West.
This is a great opportunity for a professional C+E HGV driver looking for consistent daytime work. You’ll be driving a Class 1 box vehicle, delivering packaged goods to customers across the Northwest region.
With approximately 4–5 drops per day, 6:00am starts and shifts of around 10 hours, this role offers a good balance of driving and delivery work — and importantly, there is no handball involved.
The Role
Your typical working day will include:
- Driving a Class 1 / C+E box vehicle
- Delivering packaged goods across the North West
- Completing approximately 4–5 drops per day
- Starting at around 6:00am
- Working approximately 10-hour shifts
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring goods are transported safely and securely
- Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
- Providing a professional service when dealing with customers
- Following all drivers’ hours, tachograph and road safety regulations
- No handball required
About You
We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver who takes pride in their work and is comfortable completing multi-drop deliveries.
You’ll need:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Good knowledge of the North West
- Experience with deliveries or multi-drop work
- A professional and reliable approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to complete paperwork and delivery documentation
- A good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations

All drivers must have no more than 6 penalty points
Driving licences will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
