We’re looking for a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our Client, based in Ripon (HG4). This could be a Temp – Perm for the right candidate.
This isn’t your average transport job. One day you could be delivering to a stately home, the next to a Royal Palace, a private estate or a major festival.
Our Client works in places where there is no room for mistakes.
You Must have:
- Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Common sense
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Good time management
- Confidence maneuvering an artic into tight spaces
- A professional attitude with clients
- Pride in your work
A forklift ticket would be a bonus.
The job involves:
- Long days / nights out
- 6-day weeks during busy periods including weekends
- Planning your own routes
- Looking after your vehicle and company trailers
- Delivering expensive equipment safely and on time
- Getting stuck in and helping the team when needed
This job isn’t for someone looking for a regular Monday-Friday, 9-5. If you need to be home every weekend, this probably isn’t the role for you.
