Class 2 Skip Driver – Temporary Assignment
Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of our client based in Broxburn.
This is a short-term contract involving skip work, collecting scrap metal and tipping loads in and out of skips.
Job Details
- Start Date: Monday 29th June
- Duration: 2 weeks
- Pay Rates:
- £14.50 per hour PAYE (holiday pay accrued)
- £16.25 per hour Advanced Rate (holiday pay included)
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 skip vehicle
- Collecting metal from customer sites
- Tipping and exchanging skips
- Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Proven skip driving experience required
- Previous Class 2 experience essential
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
