We are recruiting for a Transport Night Shift Supervisor to join our client in Inverness on a full-time basis. This role involves working Monday to Friday nightshifts, overseeing operations to ensure work is organised efficiently and all trailers are dispatched on time for onward journeys. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 HGV licence
You’ll play a key role in coordinating between teams and resolving any issues that arise overnight. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking stability, routine, and consistent work with a respected local operator.
🔧 What’s on Offer:

- Temp-to-perm position, with a full-time contract offered following a successful probation period.
🚚 Your Day-to-Day:
- Organising jobs and collections for nightshift colleagues
- Loading and unloading trailers, preparing load lists and manifests
- Ensuring trailers are dispatched in line with schedules
- Entering jobs into internal systems and completing accurate handover documentation
- Managing and resolving operational issues during the shift
- Coordinating closely with planning and warehouse teams to maintain workflow
- Leading the team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Valid UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, IN, or TT codes)
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Good communication skills and reliability
This is a temp-to-perm position, with a full-time contract offered following a successful probation period.
