Class 1 HGV Driver – Nightshift Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client on a full-time basis as a Nightshift Supervisor. This role involves working Monday to Friday nightshifts, overseeing operations to ensure jobs are organised efficiently and all trailers move on time for onward journeys.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating between teams and resolving any issues that arise overnight. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking stability, routine, and consistent work with a respected local operator.

🚚 Your Day-to-Day:

• Organising jobs and collections for nightshift colleagues
• Loading and unloading trailers, preparing load lists and manifests
• Ensuring trailers are dispatched in line with schedules
• Entering jobs into internal systems and completing accurate handover documentation
• Managing and resolving operational issues during the shift
• Coordinating closely with planning and warehouse teams to maintain workflow
• Leading the team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations

✅ What You’ll Need:

• Valid UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, IN, or TT codes)
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Good communication skills and reliability

This is a temp-to-perm position, with a full-time contract offered following a successful probation period.
