Class 2 Driver – Inter Depot (Driver Hire Agency Opportunity)
Driver Hire is currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to work with one of the UK’s leading independent foodservice distributors, based out of Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent work, great earning potential, and excellent benefits.

🚚 The Role
As an Inter Depot Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products between depot locations, ensuring excellent service and professionalism at all times. You’ll play a key role as a representative of the business, maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out vehicle safety and maintenance checks, including temperature checks
- Following all driver legislation and compliance requirements
- Delivering goods according to planned routes
- Picking and checking orders against invoices
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Verifying deliveries with depot teams to ensure accuracy
- Keeping the vehicle secure at all times during deliveries
- Taking full responsibility for the vehicle and goods throughout your shift
📋 Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good communication and professional attitude
