We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver for an immediate start, working with one of our established customers in the builders’ merchant sector.
This role will initially provide holiday and operational cover for several weeks, with the potential for ongoing work and future assignments with other customers across the region.
The successful candidate will be operating modern vehicles fitted with remote-control HIAB cranes and will be required to deliver building materials safely and professionally to trade and domestic customers.
Key Requirements:
• Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Current HIAB Certificate
• Experience using remote-control HIAB cranes
• Experience using brick grab attachments is essential
• Good customer service and communication skills
• A professional and safety-conscious approach
The Role:
• Delivering building materials to customer sites and residential addresses
• Operating remote-control HIAB equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading using brick grab attachments
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately
• Representing both Driver Hire and our customers professionally at all times
