🚛 Class 2 HIAB Driver – Builders Merchants
Location: Leicestershire
Pay Rate: Competitive (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of a well-established and reputable Builders Merchant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and customer-focused driver looking for regular work with a respected company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering building materials to residential and commercial sites.
- Operating a HIAB crane safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading products using the HIAB.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid HIAB certification (Brick Grab and Remote preferred).
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience within builders merchants or construction deliveries is advantageous.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
