Driver Hire Preston is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of one of our long-established clients based in the Preston area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing full-time work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful 13-week agency period.
The Role
You will be working for a busy and well-established dairy distribution operation, delivering products to wholesalers, hospitals and commercial customers across the region.
This role involves driving modern 18-tonne and 26-tonne vehicles fitted with tail lifts and handling milk trolleys during deliveries.
Daily start time: 03:00am.
What You’ll Need
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Immediate availability
